Lords of Leisure is a musical collaboration between local instrumentalists Christo Case (piano) and Alex Gordon. (Baritone guitar) Meeting in 2019, they quickly realized a shared affinity for the vintage easy listening era of the 50s and 60s. Heavily influenced by the bossa nova soundscapes of Jobim and the otherworldly rhythms of Les Baxter, these instrumental titans bring a soothing stew of fierce musicianship tempered by tasteful restraint that is sure to warm the coldest of hearts.
